WWI M1916 Named Camouflaged Helmet

$850.00

Up for sale is a very nice and original German WWI M16, or Model 1916 Steel combat helmet that has been beautifully camouflaged during WWI. This shell has a very interesting paint scheme with three main colors, red, green and brown. Large brush marks can be noted throughout the entire piece giving the camouflage a great textured look! Interestingly this camouflage pattern was not separated by black lines, as most German WWI camo helmets were.

Looking at the interior of the helmet, unfortunately there are no areas of the original leather liner left. With that, all 3 liner pins have been lost with time. To make up for this though, the inside brim was luckily named. Dont miss your chance to own a very desirable piece of WWI!
