Up for sale is an original German WWII M35 Italian / Southern Front 3 tone camouflage helmet. This helmet is in great condition with vibrant and strong colors, that could easily be a center piece of your collection. This helmet began originally an apple green DD Heer helmet issued before the year 1940. Traces of both the Heer eagle and national shield can be noted under the camo. This type of German camo is considered to be a Southern Front/ Italian / Tropical pattern due to its dark purple paint that accent the green and yellow. These patterns are very rare to find and extremely sought after.
The leather liner is still very soft and shows signs of use throughout. Some wear on the liner are distinctive to use and sweat. The original draw string is include, and portion of the leather chinstrap.
