Original German WWII M35 DD Heer Helmet
Up for sale is a very nice and original German WWII M35 DD Heer helmet. In near perfect condition this helmet features many desirable traits that would make it the pinnacle of many Heer helmet collections! This helmet features the characteristics of an early shell, but also the combat history of a re-issued early war helmet. It was originally issued with both the Heer and National decal with a bright parade green finish. After some use, and before 1940 – the helmet was then re-issued again with the Heer and National decal, although this time with a darker green finish.
The inside of the helmet is just as stunning as the outside – with a near perfect leather liner and chinstrap. Sadly with age though the chinstrap has ripped on one side. All in all a very solid example that would be difficult to upgrade from.
