Up for sale is an Original German WWII Kriegsmarine / Naval High Seas Fleet badge. This badge by Fec Adolf Bock Ausf. Schwerin Berlin is in excellent shape, with a very characteristic design. In the rear of the badge you can note the early style (Sloppy) gold guilting applied to the award.
The criteria to be awarded this medal was for a member of the German Navy to have served, either on a battleships or cruisers, with 12 weeks at sea. It has been noted that this 12 week period could be reduced if the recipient had been wounded or awarded other medals such as the EKII ( Iron Cross).
