Original US Korea War Army M-1951 Field Jacket
Up for sale is very nice and original US army Korean / Vietnam War era M-1951 Field Jacket. The jacket has four pockets total. It has no liner and is in near mint condition.No rips or tears. All buttons are present. This Jacket was made by Cohen Fein in Olive Green Shade 107 (OG 107). It was redesigned as the M-1951 field coat in November 1956 and this coat is dated Oct 1958. A very nice example that is much harder to find than the classic M-1950 jacket.
This style of jacket was used in Korea and by the early advisors in Vietnam. It was later replaced by the popular M1965 Field Jackets.
