German WWII M40 Luftwaffe Camouflaged Helmet
Up for sale is a very nice and original German WWII named M40 Luftwaffe camouflaged helmet! This M40 is a spectacular example with a hard to find 2 tone camouflage. The colors of the shell are a bright green and dark red. It appear the shell was originally painted the bright green, and then painted over once more with the dark red.
The inside of the helmet has a very honest look. The leather liner is nearly fully complete, but missing the draw string and has one torn finger. The leather is in typical condition for that of a combat worn helmet. A partial chinstrap is also present but was either cut or partially ripped. The helmet skirt is also nicely named :
Koltzenburg
