German WWII M35 DD Heer Camouflaged Helmet
Up for sale is an incredible German WWII 3 toned camouflaged helmet! This helmet originally was a very early war M35 DD heer helmet with a parade apple green finish and both the Heer and National Shield decal. Throughout its issued life, this helmet was camouflaged with an incredible 3 tone splotched pattern. We can see differing shades of green, yellow and brick red. It appears first this helmet was painted with a dark green base, and then accented with lighter shades of green, red and yellow. Original brush strokes and layering of the paint gives this helmet a great center piece look with lots of character. This particular personalized camouflage pattern is very uncommon and extremely rare to see!
The inside of this helmet still displays the original early apple parade green factory finish with the original leather liner and a name! The leather liner shows heavy signs of use with large portions of the liner sweat stained. The original helmet draw string is missing. The skirt of the helmet is named : R. H. Treder
Batch Number : 4153
