Karl Wolff Hand Signed Police Leader Document

Up for sale is this very rare handwritten and hand-signed document by Karl Wolff, the supreme SS and police leader in occupied Italy. In his career, Karl Wolff also served as Chief of Personal Staff Reichsführer-SS. This document is on the recommendation for the promotion of another SS officer, written to and in request from Heinrich Himmler, Reichsführer-SS. At the bottom you will notice a “P.S.” note directed towards Himmler, wishing him to get well soon. This note teases at Himmler as it is around the time he declared himself mentally insane. On the back of the document you will find it signed by an SS-Obersturmbannführer, or Lieutenant Colonel. This document is authenticated by the professional collector, dealer, and author Don Boyle.
