Original German WWI Splotched Camo Battle Damaged Helmet
Up for sale is a very nice and original German WWI splotched camo helmet with a rich history! This helmet alone is a very hard to find piece, with bright colors, and an unusual camo scheme. More so, this helmet has been battle damaged and was a captured item which was brought back to the USA. Included with the purchase is the story of how the helmet was found.
The inside of the helmet is is also in great shape – although missing the original liner. The veteran who captured this helmet, did however fix a metal hanger to the chinstrap lugs for display purposes.
