Original German WWI M1917 Camouflaged Steel Combat Helmet
Up for sale is a very nice and original German WWI M17, or Model 1917 Steel combat helmet that has been beautifully camouflaged during WWI. This shell has a very interesting paint scheme with two main colors, yellow and green. Large brush marks can be noted throughout the entire piece giving the camouflage a great look! The very front of the helmet is also marked with a dark black circle, which is unusually seen.
Looking at the interior of the helmet, there are no areas of the leather liner left intact. Areas of the original leather liner can be seen around the M1917 liner band. Dont miss your chance to own a very desirable piece of WWI!
