Original German WWII Luftwaffe Vet Art / Bringback Dated 1945
Up for sale is a very interesting Vet Art / Bringback piece with a Brass or Copper Swastika mounted under a German Luftwaffe Plane. The Main wing is unfortunately missing, and the tail wing were broken. Although it is a very interesting piece, what makes this piece very special is the inscription. It is inscribed by the Vet who made or captured this piece.
On top the inscription gives a Named and Capture date of 1945 (Hard to read). On the bottom it is inscribed to -To At / Paul.
Lastly this piece was fixed to a bedroom dresser with some type of stickers. I have not tried to remove these for fear of damaging the piece, but all can be removed with some care.
