German WWII M42 SD Kriegsmarine Helmet
Up for sale is a very nice and original German WWII M42 SD Kriegsmarine Helmet.
This piece is a really great example, of a very hard to find branch. Featuring a nice KM eagle, which is about 60% present, and a unit marked chinstrap (Marked H FLAK R 25 ) - we have a really unique piece that would fit any collection.
Looking towards the inside, the leather liner is still very soft and is not too fragile. Sadly though, the front rim of the leather has torn due to sweat / oil damage from use. To make up for this, the liner and shell are both named to a “Ma - - (Illegible) Thompsen”.
This piece was originally purchased from the veterans family.
