Original German WWII M42 Luftwaffe Helmet
Up for sale is a very nice and Original German WWII M42 SD Luftwaffe Helmet. This shell is in a very honest condition with a natural and consistent patina throughout. Interestingly the front of the helmet is initialed MR by likely the capturing soldier who brought this back. Also to note – the very top of the helmet displays rings where the helmet was stacked. This is common on bringbacks 1945 onwards as helmets were stacked after their surrender.
The inside of the helmet is completely missing the leather liner, but luckily the helmet liner band is still present and complete. Don’t miss your opportunity to own this beautiful German Luftwaffe helmet!
