Original German WWII Transitional Heer Helmet
Up for sale is a very nice and original German WWII Heer Transitional helmet! This helmet has a lot of history as originally it was issued to the German army during WWI, and then re-issued to the German Wehrmacht around 1938. As such an early piece, this helmet features a lot of really interesting characteristics.
Noting the helmet liner, this variation is the post 1938 leather version. The helmet liner is in great condition with signs of sweat staining from use during the war. All in all a very solid example that would look great in any collection!
