Original German WWII Luftwaffe M40 Helmet with Partial Liner
Up for sale is an original and very nice German WWII M40 Luftwaffe helmet. This piece shows some signs of use, with a very nice natural patina and wear. The helmet its its prime had a very nice dark blue color as seen by some glue that dripped over the decal its its early years. The decal is roughly 80% complete and still looks great as a combat worn piece. The glue actually preserved the eagle and its surrounding parts very well from the oxidation that can be seen surrounding the helmet. The leather liner is almost 100% gone from the shell, however luckily the original liner band is still in tact! Dont miss your chance to own a very affordable and nice Luftwaffe helmet!
