Original German WWII Luftwaffe M42 Helmet with Liner
Up for sale is a very honest M42 Luftwaffe helmet. This piece shows heavy signs of use, with large portions of the bare shell visible. The decal has some substance over the eagle. In some ways this has preserved the eagle quite well, and also darkened the white areas. The leather liner is in great shape however, and only slightly stiff. This did come from a smokers home and does smell of smoke. We have not tried to treat this, but can easily be overcome with laundry softener sheets.
