Original German WWII Heer M40 SD Helmet
Up for sale is an original and salty German M40 Heer helmet with a heavy patina. This piece makes a great stating helmet, that is affordable and still offers great display-ability. The exterior shell has some areas of modern paint, all applied by accident or unknowingly, however this is very small portions of the shell that add to the character. The condition of the shell is quite honest and shows heavy signs of use. The leather liner is complete, but with unusual markings. We are unsure how or why the leather has aged like it did, but the band is dated 1943.
