Original German WWII M38 FJ Fallschirmjäger SD Paratrooper Helmet
Up for sale is an Original Fallschirmjäger or FJ M38 SD helmet. This helmet was brought back in 1945 and given to a family friend of the vet who captured it. On the inside brim of the helmet the US vet writes the day and year he gave it away.
These helmets are very hard to find, but amazing to have in a collection! This particular helmet has also been discussed twice on the WAF and I can provide the link to anyone interested.
The inside has ripped in a few locations. But other than that the leather is in great shape and very soft. The original owner taped some areas of the liner together, however I have left the liner just as I got it.
Manufacturer : ET68
Batch Number: 4952 – which also corresponds to Brian Ice’s batch number book!
