Original German WWII Luftwaffe DD Combat Helmet with Battle Damage
Up for sale is a very interesting and Original German WWII Luftwaffe M35. This Luftwaffe helmet has a lot of character with 2 areas displaying battle damage. We can only speculate how this happened, but it definitely makes a great display piece! Both the Luftwaffe eagle and National Shield (Tri-color) decals are still present.
The inside of the shell is also marked HL most likely by the person who brought it home with them. The leather liner is also ripped on one location. This rip is behind one of the projectile markings and again we can only speculate that the rip was caused by this projectile.
The markings both, batch and size are very hard to read, however this is a smaller shell (Size 62 or 64).
