Up for sale is a very nice and original German WWII Ost Front (Eastern Front) medal and ribbon. This award was issued to both combatants and non-combatants of the axis powers who participated on the Eastern front (Operation Barbarossa) during WWII. Subsequently this medal was referred to as the Gefrierfleischorden, or Frozen Order, by many of the 3 million German soldiers issued this award.
