Original German WWII DRP Southern Front Coconut Canteen 1943
Up for sale is an original and very sought after German Wehrmacht “DAK” coconut canteen in excellent condition. Although intended for the Afrika Campaign, these were used in various hot climates such as Italy and Southern Russia. This canteen comes with the original canvas straps with metal clasp. It is missing the cup that sits on top. It bears the Deutsche Reich Patent (DRP) mark and D.R.G.M. (Deutsches Reich Gebrauchsmuster – German Reich Registered Design) markings.
