Original German WWII Heer Breast Eagle Cut Off
Up for sale is a very nice and original, German WWII Heer breast eagle that was cut from a German tunic. These are often referred to as cut off insignias, or tunic removed eagles. This type of insignia is indicative of US war trophies from WWII. Often they were brought back off of German’s that were killed in fighting – and are very hard to find with areas of the original tunic remaining.
This particular eagle is a very salty example, with a nicely applied eagle, and large areas of the original tunic remaining.
